FRISCO, Tex. (April 13, 2008) -- Moses Harris made his return to the Frisco Thunder against the Corpus Christi Hammerheads Sunday night, and he made sure it wasn't a quiet one.
Harris' three touchdowns on his first three catches led the Thunder to a blowout victory of the previously undefeated Hammerheads.
``Coach [was] stressing all through practices this whole week. We just had a lot of meetings on; had a walk-through. I just was able to get it down pretty good," said Harris, who rejoined the team after Guy Fernandez was hurt in last week's loss to Odessa.
The third option behind all-league receivers Jon Makonnen and Antwuan Courington last season, Harris had 46 catches for 662 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2007, but Sunday's three touchdowns were a career-high.
``When the Thunder started last year, I was one of the members on that team. I just left and came back,'' Harris said. ``To be back with a new group of guys, it was pretty fun."
``With the Thunder preparing for a seven-game road trip, Harris is looking forward to spending more time with his new teammates.
``It's just to gain a good friendship with them,'' Harris said.
